We are currently recruiting for a Counter Fraud Intelligence Officer based in Ilford, Greater London. 

 

Pay rate: £19.75 PAYE / £25.23 umbrella – per hour (paid weekly)

Hours: Full time (36 hrs per week)

Contract duration: Temporary ongoing

 

Purpose:  Develop and maintain systems, software, and processes to assist in the collection, collation and analysis of data and information relating to fraud, or potential fraud. In particular to manage the National Fraud Initiative (NFI) data base, liaising with relevant services and recording outcomes, as well as uploading data to the Fraud Hub (part of the NFI) and analysing any potential matches before allocating to an investigator for further actions. Keeping up to date with changes in legislation, new and emerging fraud risks and applying best practice. Promote the importance and understanding of anti-fraud measures across the organisation.

 

Essential Criteria:

  • Must have a standard DBS
  • An accredited counter fraud qualification
  • Awareness of fraud risk issues
  • Experience of using IT software packages
  • Able to analyse and interpret complex information
  • Able to produce clear and concise reports
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and achieving targets
  • At least 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (including English and Mathematics) or equivalent
  • Should be computer literate with good Microsoft and Word excel skills
