We are currently recruiting for Civilian Investigators based in Hendon, Greater London.
Pay rate: £22.42 PAYE / £29.11 umbrella – per hour (paid weekly)
Hours: Full time and part time positions available. Hybrid working available –
- Disclosure Teams
Full-time: 5 days per week – 3 days office-based / 2 days working from home
Part-time arrangements: Anything less than 5 days – one day working from home. - Investigation Teams
Full-time: 5 days per week (minimum of 4 days) – 4 days office-based / 1 days working from home
Contract duration: Temporary ongoing
Purpose:
We are currently recruiting for ex police staff, to return on a civilian basis, to join a large investigation as a Civilian Investigator. This investigation has run alongside a Public Inquiry and represents one of the largest and most complex homicide investigations ever undertaken.
The Client is now at a crucial and decisive stage of the investigation. As a result, the pace and intensity of the investigation have significantly increased, and we are seeking skilled professionals to support this critical phase of work.

Essential Experience:
- Recent experience of serious and/or complex crime investigations
- Valid PIP2 accreditation.
- Aptitude for processing and analysing detailed information
- Experience of managing complex investigations within the last five years.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience of working within collaborative investigative partnerships
- Experience working in a HOLMES environment
- Experience in project management and delivery
