Investigative Consultants

We are currently recruiting for Investigative Consultants based in Bradford, West Yorkshire. 

Pay rate: £24 per hour – Outside IR35 (paid weekly)

Pay options: Sole Trader, Ltd company or Umbrella company

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire – Hybrid working

Hours: Full time, part time or compressed hours available

Contract duration: Temporary ongoing

Purpose: We are currently seeking Investigative Consultants to join our Peel Consultancy Team assisting within Public Protection Unit.

Duties:

• Gather, review, record and share relevant information in accordance with legislation, organisational policies and professional standards.
• Review and collect available evidence and information, including visual recordings, digital material, local intelligence and information from third parties.
• Securely manage, record and submit evidence and other materials, including preparing items for specialist examination and formal presentation.
• Use organisational systems and databases to accurately record, manage and retrieve investigation-related information.
• Conduct research and assist in preparing investigation files, reports and supporting documentation for review and decision-making.
• Attend formal proceedings and meetings, providing clear and factual information relating to enquiries undertaken.
• Assist with formal interviews and information-gathering activities where appropriately trained and authorised.

Essential Criteria:

• PIP2 or Detective or equivalent experience
• Niche experience
• Safeguarding experience or investigation of complex crime
• Must hold NPPV2 clearance (non-police personnel vetting level 2)
