We are currently recruiting for an Administrator in Bolton.
Pay rate: £12.25 per hour.
Contract duration: Temporary ongoing.
Core skills:
- Competencies to NVQ Level 3 standard
- Working knowledge of relevant systems, equipment and processes including standard and non-standard software packages
- Proven written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with work priorities of unit
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office
- proven literacy and numeracy skills
- Ability to exchange basic information verbally or in writing
- understanding of the activities of the work section
Duties:
- Obtaining standard data and information in order to create documents or answer straightforward queries.
- Preparation of standard and non-standard documentation, for example reports, presentations, and letters. This may require the use and integration of a range of computer-based procedures and standard software packages.
- Performing straightforward interpretation, analysis and manipulation of data, tasks or information
- Receiving and responding to enquiries from/to customers judging when to pass on more complex queries or to involve others.
- Minute taking.
- Filing, archiving and document retrieval.
- Organising and resolving most issues independently
- May act as a filter for issues/problems addressed to a supervisor/manager.
- Delivering or overseeing support services to specialised areas, advising colleagues on specific systems or processes.
- Planning and supervising a support team’s short and medium term work activities in response to a manager’s general instructions.
- Requisitioning and stock control of supplies
