We are currently recruiting for a Blended Learning Officer in Greater Manchester.

 

Pay rate: £18.21 – per hour (paid weekly)

Hours: Full time – Office based

Contract duration: Temporary ongoing

 

Purpose:  To develop learning solutions using new technologies providing the Force and external customers with high quality learning and development services.

 

Duties:

  • Maintain contact with the Branch’s customers and users to ensure continuous improvement in relation to cost, quality, productivity and service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers meeting requirements through analysis, planning, design and review of blended learning solutions.
  • Develop innovative solutions to achieve new ways of developing and delivering learning. To be responsible for effective communication of technology assisted learning.
  • Monitor and continually improve the efficiency of training delivery, taking into account the effective deployment of trainers, support functions and efficient administration.
  • To be responsible for validating and evaluating the effective use of technology assisted learning to ensure continued efficiency and effectiveness of the service in meeting identified needs of the customer.
  • To ensure the branch maintains the technology and resources required at the correct specification and standard.
  • Support the sub-domain of the nCalt eLearning system by maintaining comprehensive systems documentation and records. To include: bulk registration, maintenance procedures and data quality checking.
  • To have personal responsibility for the safe storage and transit of equipment and materials when working away from normal office
  • Carry out help desk duties for the nCalt eLearning help lines
  • Participate in continuous development of knowledge and skills
  •  To work in other areas of the Learning Services team as directed by team leader or Senior Leadership Team.

 

Essential Experience:

  • Experience within a training function.
  • Experience of producing learning materials incorporating a variety of learning methodologies.

 

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience of carrying out help desk duties.
  • Worked as a trained/qualified instructor, developed/conducted a range of training courses for various levels of staff.
  • Experience of assisting learning delivery staff in integrating the quality assurance processes within learning programs.
  • Experience of assisting in the completion of learning evaluations across the organisation
