We are currently recruiting for a Business Support Officer in Bury.
Pay rate: 10.60-11.47 per hour.
Contract duration: Temporary ongoing
Business Support Officers who will work as part of a team to provide effective and comprehensive business support, contributing to excellent service delivery through the provision of more specialist/technical administration duties.
The Housing Options team process the client’s Housing Applications, following the Housing Allocation Policy. Working with partner agencies and support services processing personal information on specialised system. Loading new cases and managing existing applications through to completion. This is a public face role, taking calls from customers and managing email inboxes.
- You will have exceptional organisational skills to work under pressure to complete tasks to potentially conflicting deadlines, without direct line management, re-prioritising your own work as appropriate.
- You will be capable of resolving problems, using your own initiative to provide practical solutions.
- You will be experienced in using computer packages and be confident in quickly being able to use bespoke software used within different services.
- Excellent communications skills will be required, together with high levels of customer service skills to deliver polite, courteous, and efficient service to colleagues, partners, and service users.
