We are currently recruiting for a Correspondence Officer based in Leeds.
Pay rate: £126.92 PAYE / £172.27 umbrella – per day (paid weekly)
Hours: Office hours (Hybrid – 3 days a week onsite)
Contract duration: Temporary ongoing
Purpose:
The Customers and Engagement (C&E) team is a busy team that works with others to deliver excellent customer service to people living and working across Yorkshire. Ensuring to give clear, consistent advice and information on sensitive and emotive issues such as flooding, pollution and regulated sites. They manage a diverse range of requests and correspondence from many different stakeholders and customers.
Duties:
- Managing correspondence and gathering information to provide an accurate and timely response.
- Managing and responding to complaints.
- Analysing data and running reports.
- Providing ministerial briefings.
- Leading on high profile and complex work within the team.
- Working with others to manage reputational risks.
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience in handling formal correspondence—especially complaints or communications with MPs and senior public organisations
- Strong Written Communication Skills Important
