We are currently recruiting for Disclosure Officers based in Essex.
Pay rate: £20.08 PAYE / £25.61 umbrella – per hour (paid weekly)
Hours: Full time (37 hours per week)
Contract duration: Temporary ongoing
Purpose:
- Identify and investigate serious organised crime cases throughout the UK committed against the UK government, working in conjunction with other agencies where necessary.
- Locate any weaknesses in systems and controls, to develop and implement processes and procedures to reduce the risk for fraud to be committed.
- Manage a comprehensive Intelligence, Investigation, and Prosecution operational case management system, ensuring compliance with Codes of Practice and local policy.
- Assist with the ongoing development and delivery of training for that system’s use across the organisation and provide SME support to investigation teams and senior management.
Essential Criteria:
- Proven experience of successfully working within teams investigating allegations of crime, including financial and complex, that led to successful outcomes.
- Experience of collating, assessing, and accurately recording material and evidence for use in the prosecution of criminal offences.
- Proven track record of successful inter-agency working.
- Nationally recognised law enforcement investigation qualification which can include the Accredited Counter fraud Specialist, PIP2 and relevant recent experience.
- Strong Disclosure Officer experience essential, preferably with criminal justice & case progression experience bolted on.
- Able to advise and support investigation teams carrying out disclosure review, and quality assuring their disclosure and case file building.
