We are looking for Enquiry Officers to assist Derbyshire Constabulary’s Major Incidents Team in Derby.
Rate of pay: £157.50 per day (Outside IR35)
Hours: Office hours (full-time & part-time available)

Location: HYBRID working. On site: Ascot Drive Police Station, Dunstall Park Rd, Allenton, Derby DE24 8UJ

Key Objectives:

Maintain case progression timelines – prevent backlog of cases and ensure investigations continue at pace

Secure time critical evidence – rapidly deploy an enquiry team to prevent the loss of vital evidence, in particular CCTV

Manage the increased demand without compromising the quality and integrity of investigations.

To ensure continued delivery of investigations and successful Criminal Justice outcomes

Stabilisation of investigations, workloads and case progression.

Reduce missed opportunities, evidential errors or investigative delays
Duties:
- Secure, preserve and gather evidence
- Obtaining and reviewing CCTV
- Interview victims and witnesses, obtaining statements
- Analysing phone and device download reviews
- Forensic submissions
- Use internal IT systems to research and maintain records regarding individuals and investigations
