We are currently recruiting for an ICT Trainer in London.

 

Pay rate: PAYE £349.62 per day/UMB £450 per day.

Hours:  Full time (36 hours per week).

Contract duration: Temporary ongoing

 

Purpose:

You will work on IT projects to ensure that all training provided, currently and historically, is of exceptional quality, meets project and business objectives and can be successfully transitioned into service support.

 

Duties: 

  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders (project, testers, developers, business, national training function) to understand their training requirements and the technology to be implemented.
  • Design and develop bespoke technology-based training courses, as dictated by the approved Training Strategy, including lesson plans, exercise workbooks, PowerPoint presentations, support guides etc. for each project assigned to.
  • Attend meetings and Working Groups, when required, to report on progress, obtain sign-off of documentation and confirm decisions and deliverables.
  • Schedule and deliver training, where required, to agreed user groups using classroom, one-to-one, coaching, remote training etc. in accordance with approved training approach.
  • Achieve and maintain training quality, design and delivery standards for ICT.
  • Provide updates to ICT Training Manager on progress, risks, issues and successes.
  • Any other activities that contribute to the successful delivery of ICT projects.
  • Work closely with our main Stakeholders (for BAU training) to ensure that an effective transition from Project to BAU is delivered.

 

Knowledge and Experience: 

  • Degree or equivalent experience/qualification in IT and Business Process Training.
  • Hold a current and valid nationally recognised teaching or training qualification (e.g. Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in training design and delivery roles.
  • Experience of developing exceptional quality training materials for bespoke training courses.
  • Able to deliver training at all levels to groups with differing needs.
  • Good working knowledge of industry standard learning/training methodologies.
  • Experience of working in a project/programme environment as part of a delivery team.
