We are currently recruiting for Investigative Consultants for a remote role.
Pay rate: £23 per hour (outside IR35)
Pay options: Sole trader, Limited company or via an Umbrella company (further information attached)
Locations: Remote working
Vetting: Must hold NPPV3
Hours: Full-time, part-time & compressed hours available.
Purpose: We are looking for Investigative Consultants to join our Consultancy Team to assist our client in reducing the number of legacy rape cases, to ensure victim confidence and achieve positive outcomes.
Duties:
Support the Public Protection Unit with the investigation of 200+ legacy cases to:
- Ensure they are finalised for consideration of a CPS disposal decision.
- Identify cases where investigative challenges cannot be overcome and the threshold not met for CPS for DI review.
- Review third party material, carry out remote investigative tasks and prepare case files.
- Follow Operation Soteria framework guidelines.
Experience:
- Detective/PIP2 or equivalent experience
- Previous RASSO investigative experience
- Niche experience
