We are currently recruiting for Investigative Consultants in Stafford.

 

Duration: 4 weeks initially (with possibility of extension)

Daily Rate:  £172.50 per day

 

We are seeking experienced Investigative Consultants to support with a large-scale investigation in the Staffordshire area. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a significant investigation and make a substantial impact on public safety.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations
  • Retrieve and review CCTV, helicopter, drone, EGT, and BWV evidence
  • Identify and interview suspects and witnesses
  • Prepare comprehensive case files for prosecution
  • Contribute to the swift processing of existing evidence
  • Outside enquiries and statement taking
  • Support the timely progression of cases through the Criminal Justice system
  • Collaborate with other team members and integrate with existing Police operations

 

Required Criteria:

  • Policing background
  • Previous experience using HOLMES.
  • Extensive experience in conducting complex criminal investigations
  • Strong understanding of CCTV and video evidence analysis
  • Proficiency in interview techniques for both suspects and witnesses
  • Experience in preparing case files for prosecution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in relevant police IT systems

 

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in major crime investigations
  • Current NPPV2 vetting or higher is desirable but not compulsory
  • PIP2 accreditation or equivalent experience
