We are currently recruiting for Leadership Academy Trainers based in Greater London.
Pay rate: £281.41 per day PAYE / £367 umbrella – per day (paid weekly)
Hours: 08:00–16:00 – Monday – Friday, fully in-person training. Working from home or operating on a hybrid basis is not permitted.
Contract duration: Temporary ongoing
Purpose:
The role holder will be responsible for working as part of the team delivering high quality training and facilitating, of the Client’s Operator Level Leadership Programme (OLLP). This role will involve delivering structured, in-person training to approx. 34,000 Police Constables (PC), Detectives (DC), and staff equivalents.
Duties:
- Deliver and facilitate engaging, high-quality training sessions
- Facilitate one-day courses for mixed cohorts of officers and staff
- Support learners in understanding and embedding cultural principles
- Assist with maintaining attendance, feedback, and course evaluation records
- Collaborate with programme leads and other trainers to ensure consistent delivery standards
Essential Criteria:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with participants at all levels in order to lead collaboration between them in face to face and virtual environments.
- Able to work flexibly in managing assignments and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- The confidence to deliver new ideas – ensuring that training can be delivered consistently as planned and agreed.
- Extensive experience of delivery of training programmes to delegates or students.
- Experience of working in a law enforcement environment or an understanding of the work of Law Enforcement
- Level 4 education/training qualification or College of Policing Trainer Essentials Programme or equivalent experience (essential)
- Use of a range of delivery aids & facilitation methodologies such as PowerPoint.
- Background or experience within policing, law enforcement, or public sector.
