PIP2 Investigative Consultants – HALTED

We are currently seeking PIP2 Investigative Consultants to join our Peel Consultancy Team.

Pay rate: £23 per hour

Location: Remote

Hours: Full-time only, Monday to Friday (part-time is not being considered).

Contract duration: Temporary ongoing

Purpose: As PIP2 Investigator you will be part of a major incidents room working on a national criminal investigation.

This is a complex investigation that will require the selected candidates to read, review and report on a wide range of literature which requires high levels of concentration.

Duties:

• A national investigation drawing together all police forces in England and Wales to staff and effectively investigate a high profile and complex investigation. Your role will be working on an outside investigation team within a clearly defined investigative strategy which has been agreed with the CPS.
• The investigation is run on HOLMES and will be action driven. In addition, the data you will be working with is held on Relativity, an eDiscovery tool which will allow teams to interrogate material remotely identifying both evidence and relevant unused material relating to the individual taskings given as well as the overarching investigative strategy , which includes case file preparation for CPS as well as ongoing Disclosure responsibilities under CPIA.

Essential Experience:

• PIP2 investigator
• Experience of Serious / Complex Crime Investigations
• Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience:

• Experience of working within collaborative investigative partnerships
• Experience of working in a HOLMES environment
• Advance Disclosure/HOLMES Disclosure trained
• Ability to manage a range of activities and work independently
• Experience using Relativity (eDiscovery tool)
