We are currently recruiting for a Senior Media & PR Officer in London (with hybrid working)
Pay: £125 per day
Purpose:
The PR & Media Manager (contract) will take the lead on promoting the charity’s Policy, Campaigning, and Research work in the media and helping to ensure we run an effective and efficient reactive press office function (Newsdesk).
Requirements:
- Excellent writing ability, able to convey a compelling story and simplify detailed information for multiple audiences.
- Ability to review simple data such as ONS stats and understand the story they tell.
- Confident communicator – able to communicate ideas verbally.
- Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- A creative thinker, able to spot opportunities and adapt plans to best advantage.
- An effective multi-tasker, able to prioritise and work at pace under pressures, meeting deadlines.
- Excellent knowledge of UK media.
- Knowledge of UK Govt. parliament, Westminster
- Knowledge of how PR and media can best be used to influence.
No formal qualifications required but relevant experience to the role is essential.
